Preparation and Application

Mortar / Cement Mixing

Mixing Ratio: 1 part solution to 2.5–2.75 parts powder (by weight), adjustable based on temperature and conditions.

Process: Stir the solution thoroughly, then add powder in a mixing pan. Blend with a spatula or trowel until a uniform consistency is achieved.

Tip: Mix small batches to maintain workability. Use all Mortar / Cement from the pan before preparing a new batch.

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, slightly rough, and free from dust, grease, or oil
  • Maintain proper alignment and slope, as acid-proof linings cannot correct surface irregularities

Curing Process

  • Initial Setting: 6–8 hours at 30°C
  • Final Setting: 24–48 hours at 30°C
  • Full Curing: 7 days at 30°C
  • Important: Prevent water exposure during curing to ensure optimal strength

Acid Curing (When Applicable)

Solution

  • When using different bedding and jointing mortars, allow the bedding Mortar / Cement to set, then cure joints with 20–25% HCl acid for 72 hours
  • Wash joints with clean water to remove free acid, dry thoroughly, and then apply resin-type Mortar / Cement to the joints

Storage and Shelf Life

  • Solution: 24 months at 30°C (±2°C)
  • Powder: 24 months at 30°C (±2°C)
  • Storage: Keep both components in their original, sealed containers in a cool, dry place under a roof

Packaging

  • Solution: 75 Kgs Plastic Carbo
  • Powder: 25 Kgs Plastic Bag
  • Custom Packaging: Available for export as per customer requirements
