Mortar / Cement Preparation

Mixing Ratio: 1 part Solution to 3 parts Powder (adjust slightly based on temperature and conditions)

  • Stir the Solution thoroughly, then add Powder in a mixing pan
  • Mix with a spatula or trowel until uniform
  • Prepare small batches to ensure usability before setting begins
  • Discard any material that starts to set; do not re-temper

Application Process

  • Use clean, dry bricks or tiles stored at ambient temperature
  • Apply Mortar / Cement to one side and one end of each brick using a pointing trowel
  • Position masonry units by tapping to create a 1/8-inch wide vertical joint
  • Ensure grout fills the joint to its full depth
  • Prevent moisture from entering open joints or contacting tile undersides

Cleaning

  • Clean tools and equipment immediately with a citrus or biodegradable cleanser and hot water
  • Use solvent-based cleaners for cured material

Curing

  • Initial Set: 6–8 hours at 30°C
  • Final Set: 24–48 hours at 30°C
  • Full Cure: 7 days at 30°C
  • Avoid water exposure during curing to ensure optimal performance
